Erin Sian Thomas

Erin Sian Thomas is a Raindance award-winning Film Production graduate and early-career producer, based in South East England. She is focused on building thoughtful, ethically grounded work with intention and care.

Erin produced Matrescence, my graduate short film exploring postpartum depression and the often-unspoken realities of early motherhood. The project required a sensitive and responsible production approach, from charity outreach to safeguarding cast and crew, and its recognition in the name of Raindance marked a significant early milestone in her career. The experience confirmed her interest in projects that prioritise emotional truth, care, and strong production values.

Alongside producing, Erin works as a photographer, with a focus on people, atmosphere, and intimate detail. Her visual work is shaped by a cinematic sensibility and a love for natural, honest storytelling.

Erin also brings a distinct perspective through my work in animal welfare advocacy, particularly within the rabbit community. She shares her life with two much-loved rabbits, Marilyn and Audrey, and through campaigning, research, public engagement, and fundraising and donating to rabbit rescues, Erin has highlighted gaps in awareness and responsibility within commercial and cultural spaces. This work has strengthened her ability to advocate, communicate clearly, and lead with integrity, qualities that directly inform her approach to producing.

Erin is at the beginning of her career, motivated by supporting strong teams, meaningful stories, and production environments that value both people and responsibility.
